Mr. Krasno began his engineering career in 1988. Since that time he has gained significant experience in numerous fields of engineering consulting. His primary expertise has been in the fields of roofing, waterproofing and property condition assessments.
Mr. Krasno has completed facility condition assessments and roof condition surveys on over 200 million square feet of commercial and residential space including hotels, offices, retail properties, mobile home parks, golf courses, hospitals, nursing facilities, golf-courses, single-family homes and apartments. Condition assessment services have included evaluation of roofing, waterproofing, building exteriors, life safety/code compliance, structural systems, site, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, handicap accessibility, and building interiors. Projects have included capital reserve estimates for terms ranging from five to 35 years.
Mr. Krasno has authored numerous technical reports and studies for regional and national publications. He has served on advisory committees for ASTM standard development on a national level.
In addition to his professional experience in the engineering field, Mr. Krasno has also been a guest speaker at seminars and short courses for a variety of topics, including: ADA compliance training, indoor air quality training, amusement device testing and evaluation, structural instrumentation, and facilities maintenance.
